Internet Cafe Blues (I think there’s a song in there)…
November 5, 2008 – 9:21 amI’m sitting in an internet cafe just across from my place, seeing as my lovely internet connection failed me, and I’m possibly the only person in here that has noticed this: there are a lot of unemployed people in this room.
I had a look around whilst walking in and roughly 90% of the folks in here are on Job-searching sites. All except for the two annoying kids in front of me, who are speaking at decibel levels that would render snakes deaf…
This all made me wonder; just how many people EXACTLY in SA are unemployed? I know what the percentage of South Africans is, but I’d love to know how many people living inside our borders in total, and how many are unemployed… could keep a person busy for a while.
Can anyone tell me?
